This addon has been archived a new and improved version is available:

A blender addon for easily creating depth based meshes from an image.
The addon requires the built-in import images as planes addon to be enabled.

Works in Blender 3.x

Tested on Windows only.

It uses pytorch for inference and automatically installs it at first launch (it takes up ~1GB).

It loads the necessary modules at the first inference rather than at blender startup. This means it doesn't slow down blender at startup but the first inference will be slower.
